The three monsters: Fear, Doubt and Despondency.

#fear#

Talk about fear. At some point, all of us have had it.

It’s not the problem of fear. It’s the problem of not overcoming fear.

Fear is a disease. It can progress into a monster called coward.

Fear can make someone miss an opportunity. Fear causes retreat and procrastination; a state of delay to take action. Fear is for the coward.

Because of fear, many talents have ended up in the graves. Graves are the best hub ever of wealth that was not brought into use by those deceased.

When you fear, you invite a state of hopelessness and complexity in seeing the success side of a story. You feel comfortable not to try anything; and this is usually the opposite of any expectation under normal circumstances.

Even while on smooth road, fear makes you see a rough road.

#Doubt#

Whenever you doubt whether you can do something or not, then be sure that you can’t.

Never and never will you succeed if you are full of doubt.

DOUBT kicks you OUT of the game.

Because of doubt, you sink in an ocean even when the waves are calm.

Doubt brings your parachute down in an unexplainable manner. You fall with a thud!

Instead of doubt, develop confidence. Think of possibility instead of impossibility.

#Despondency#

In any hopeless situation, learn to hold on positive thoughts.

You lose focus when you become despondent. You face doom. You create room for weird resolutions.

Despondency is despair, a state of lawlessness on what best decision to hold on during night times or dark moments so to say.

Despondency is a monster. It should not dominate your life at all. Live positively, think positively and face challenges positively.

Sometimes we fail to be strong during adversity. Right. Human nature attached to this fact. But remember God’s nature as well. The best practice we require in order to drive away these three monsters is to be able to choose God’s nature over human nature and especially in adversity.

Lightning can strike, a landslide can bury millions of us, an earthquake can rock buildings even when we are inside, fire can rage and raze over a hairy forest, locusts can locate a plantation and swarm through, a disease can wipe generations…….and much more.

That’s fine. It happens. But I believe it depends on our courage. I mean the courage to live life amid circumstances. The courage to sleep in bed with enough faith that we shall wake up alive the next day.

That’s life.

The art of Winning.

#The art of Winning#

Winning is a mentality

It’s also a reality.

A winner on the course,

Is determined with full force

To make sure they bring the spoil home.

Quitters are cowards,

They only see mole hills as mountains,

They can’t thrust themselves forwards,

They can’t be captains.

Cowards are timid, so miss rewards.

A winner always persists

A winner defeats

A winner resists

A winner desists

All discouragement…until they win!

That’s the art of a winner!

Cast The Past, first fast.

A bad past

should not dictate your future.

Cast the past first in a pit, fast,

Before you think of good future.

Let go, that with rust

That which you cannot nurture.

1360190375-DOUBT-YOURSELF-quotes

A good future needs determined mind,

A mind that can leave behind,

All the woes and hold on to what it will find,

Relevant, pleasant and sound.

Such a mind,

Is a treasure one can’t easily find.

Battles are Fought, Not Thought.

#Battle#strategy#winning.

It’s very unwise to imagine that you can win a battle by sitting back and not taking any action. A good soldier rises to go and fight. Please mark that.

You fight. You put on your armour and face the opponent. This is not and is never an imaginary affair.

But before that, you need to train first. You may only do little in the battle field if you trained insufficiently or didn’t train at all. The enemy may sound stronger for you because of such reasons. Remember the following:

  • You may have all the weapons, all the armies but may end up being defeated. Why? Because you may be having a poor strategy, or no skill because of poor or no training. Everything being available doesn’t guarantee success. The enemy may still overtake you.
  • Every battle requires resilience. Fight up to the end. Resolve to fight until you die. Either you win or die. Two things only. Nothing in between.
  • Battles are not fought by cowards. When you run away, the enemy gets a chance to shoot your bare back. You may have a breast plate in place, and a shield but your back may not be equally protected. So you endanger your back when you run away. Face the enemy.

Battles come in different forms in our lives. Diseases, alcoholism, marital problems, poverty, court cases are just some of them. Remember also that battles may be psychological, for example a mind set that one will never make it in life however much they try.

When you are faced with a battle, remember that your faith is being tested. To grow stronger, you need to be exposed to a test or an examination. As you pass one test, you face another one….and eventually you graduate.

A winner is never characterized by how many battles they fought but how they kept on rising, a battle after another.

The best way to wage war against the enemy is to plan and attack using tact and never to retreat even if the enemy looks fierce or stronger than you.

When you know you are a coward, you may decide to shout and threaten the enemy…in your cowardice state. The enemy may interpret the shout as a danger that wants to send them to the grave. When you know that you don’t have courage, just pretend that you have it.

It’s very wrong to think that battles are won overnight. It’s never an easy ride. Always prepare adequately.

That’s the truth. Thank you.

Dogma…bad trap.

#Don’t be trapped by dogma.

1

Live life to its best,

Don’t be trapped by dogma,

Don’t let your life spill into waste,

Whichever way, people will murmur.

Be courageous to lose the sight of the shore,

Or to wander in the wilderness,

Until you can’t turn back anymore,

Success comes with decisiveness.

Don’t be afraid to pursue your dream, to honestly criticise a fact, or to air your opinion. Don’t decide on what to do based on what people think about you. If you let go that which is yours, you may never find it. Don’t waste time living somebody else’s life. Don’t live a lie. Be yourself. Take courage.

Cheers.
