On Sunday. Battles.

There are forces in our lives that either make us succeed or fail.

Ephesians:6.10-12.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Warfare.

There are two worlds. The spiritual world (which is unseen) and the physical world which is seen.

Before a physical manifestation of anything takes place, it is usually formed in the spiritual realm.

Our failures and bad circumstances emerge from the spiritual world before we experience the difficulties that we usually feel in the physical world.

The battles that you and me face in the physical cannot be effectively fought if our strategies are laid in the physical realm.

This means that a good fight is the spiritual fight. You need to attack the enemy in the spiritual realm before he manifests in the physical realm.

The best weapon of our warfare for this case is PRAYER.

Prayer destroys all the boundaries of the enemy leaving him naked. Your battles require this weapon.

When you do not pray, you will start handling your battles in the physical realm which will be too late for you.

My prayer is that we need to learn to take our battles in the spiritual realm for us to defeat the enemy.

Have a peaceful Sunday.

  1. Prayer…Lately, I’ve taken my own agenda, wants and needs out of my prayers. I’ve stripped prayer down to a visual. Because the good Lord wants more for me than I can picture for myself, my prayer has become a visual…I picture myself laying in the hand of God. I picture myself feeling protected, calm and trusting as I am in His hand. As God wants, so shall it be! I like your insight, Benardchinua!
